Ingredients

  • Cherries Jubilee Sauce:
  • 1 box (27 oz.) Klondike Bars
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tb. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 2 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen dark sweet cherries
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind, opt.

Preparation

Step 1

make the sauce first. Whisk together sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan, whisk in orange juice. Cool over medium heat, whisking constantly till thickened. Stir in cherries and if desired, orange rind. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, 5 minutes. Remove pan from heat. Stir in 1/4 c. brandy, if desired and return to heat. Cook, stirring constantly, 30 seconds. Cool slightly.

Unwrap each individual ice cream bar. Cut each in half diagonally, forming 2 triangles. Arrange 2 triangles in each of 6 parfait or balloon wine glasses. Top with Cherries Jubilee Sauce. Serve immediately.
