Ingredients

  • 10 oz. pkg extra sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 16 slices white bread (remove crusts) cubed
  • 2 C small cubes ham
  • 6 beaten eggs
  • 3 C milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 C crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4 C butter/margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Butter 9X13 pan. Put half of bread cubes in pan, sprinkle with all the ham and grated cheese. Put other half of bread cubes over mixture. Top with mixture of eggs, milk, salt and mustard. Cover pan with foil. Refrigerate overnight.
Next morning, allow to come to room temperature. Top with 2 C of crushed corn flakes, mixed with 1/4 C margarine.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
