- Egg roll wrappers
- Store-bought Mozzarella sticks OR a block of Mozzarella cut into ½” x 4” sticks
- Water
- Salt & pepper
- Canola oil
- Marinara sauce
- Ranch dressing

Preparation
Step 1
Lay the egg roll wrappers in front of you like a diamond. Brush the surface lightly with water. Lay a piece of cheese on the lower third of the diamond. Season lightly with salt & pepper. Roll the cheese in the wrapper halfway, then fold in the corners of the wrapper like a burrito. Seal the edges with water. Place a nonstick pan over medium-high heat & add about 1/8” oil or just enough to coat. Once the oil shimmers, place several Mozzarella sticks in the pan. Cook 1 to 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown. [OR Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees. Cook 1 to 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.] Remove from oil to a paper towel-lined plate. Season immediately with salt. Allow to cool slightly before serving with marinara & Ranch dressing.
