Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon chocolate malt powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons alt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- chocolate sauce( to serve)
- 1 cup Coarsely chopped toasted walnuts (substitute with Pecans)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup agave or light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl combine dry ingredients. In a medium bowl combine wet ingredients. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Do not over mix.
Heat a nonstick pan or griddle on medium high heat. Spray or brush pan with oil. Pour 1/4 cup batter on pan. Wait for pancakes to bubble up and get dry around the edges, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for a minute longer. Serve with Wet Walnuts and chocolate sauce.
For the Wet Walnuts: In a small sauce pot, combine water, agave, brown sugar and salt. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla and butter. Once butter is melted, fold in Walnuts.
