Quick Quiches

Ingredients

• 1 frozen 9" deep pie shell
• 5 eggs
• 1 1/2 C heavy whipping cream
• 2 C grated Gryere cheese
• 1 C diced cooked bacon
• 1/2 t salt
• 1/2 t pepper
• 1/4 t nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Brush pie crust with 1 beaten egg yok. Prick crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven.

Sprinkle cheese on the bottom of pie shell. Spread bacon on top. Sprinkle salt and pepper and nutmeg. Put on foil lined cookie sheet. Whisk egg mixture and pour pie crust filling halfway. Pour in more until 1/4" from top. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes. Cool 15-30 minutes.
