Ingredients
- 16 even sized open cup mushrooms, stalks cut level.
- 3 tbs. EVOO
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 2 tbs. fresh, chopped thyme
- 1 &1/2 tbs. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
• Lightly fry the mushrooms, cap side down, for 20 seconds in hot oil.
• Arrange the mushrooms in a shallow foil pan, caps down.
• Mix the butter, garlic, thyme lemon juice and salt/pepper.
• Spoon the mixture over each mushroom.
• Lightly press the breadcrumbs on the top.
• Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
