Ingredients
- 2 cans (14-1/2oz each) chicken broth
- 3 C cubed cooked chicken
- 2 C frozen corn
- 1 can (10-3/4oz) tomato puree
- 1 can (10-oz) diced tomatoes & green chilies
- 1 lg onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1-2 tsp grd. cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 to 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 white or yellow corn tortillas (6") cut into 1/4" strips

Preparation
Step 1
in 5-qt slow cooker, combine 1st 13 ingredients
cover & cook on low for 4 hrs
place tortilla strips on ungreased baking sheet
bake @375 for 5 min
turn
bake 5 min longer
discard bay leaf from soup
serve w/ tortilla strips
