Ingredients

1 unsliced round loaf (1LB) sourdough bread
1 LB Monterey jack cheese, sliced
1/2 C butter, melted
1/2 C chopped green onions
2-3 tsp poppy seeds

Preparation

Step 1

cut bread lengthwise & widthwise without cutting through bottom crust
insert cheese betwn cuts

combine butter, onions & poppy seeds
drizzle over bread

wrap in foil
place on baking sheet

bake @ 350 for 15 min

unwrap
bake 10 min longer or until cheese is melted
