Preparation

Step 1

In crockpot add raw stew beef, soups seasonings and mix well...do NOT add any water at all... cover and let it cook on low for about 4 hours or so then add the onions and mushrooms and stir....cook for two more hours...I usually at some point put it on high and let it boil for about an hour or two also...depends on your crockpot on how hot it cooks things ...total time is up to you..they say 10 hours but mine is done in around 8...anyway...the last hour of cooking add the sour cream and cubed cream cheese...mix well and let it all melt together for that last hour...

pour over cooked egg noodles or rice...have even used left over mashed potatoes which was good too...
enjoy!!! this is EASY and soooo good...I dont use the lowfat versions of the sour cream or cream cheese as it makes this dish really watery...so I use the regular
