Ingredients
- 8 italian sausage links (2LBS)
- 1 jar (26 oz) meatless spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 C water
- 1 can (6-oz) tomato paste
- 1 lg green pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
- 1 TBL grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 8 brat buns, split
- additional parmesan cheese, optional

Preparation
Step 1
place sausages in lg. skillet
cover w/ water
bring to boil
reduce heat
cover & simmer 10 min
drain well
meanwhile in 3-qt slow cooker, combine all intredient (through parsley)
add sausages
cover & cook on low for 4 hrs
increase temp to high
cook 1 hr longer
serve in buns
sprinklw w/ additional parmesan
