Surprise Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 C melted butter
• 1 C sugar
• 1/2 C brown sugar
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1 t baking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 t. vanilla
• 2 T water
• 3 C flour
• 1 package Bridge Mix
• 4-5 dozen walnut or pecan halves

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugars with melted butter. Add eggs, baking soda, salt, vanilla and water. Add flour. Chill dough 1 hour or overnight.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Scoop out a tablespoon of dough and form around a piece of candy. Place nut half on top and place on greased baking sheet.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
