Ingredients

  • 4 cup apples or peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup + 2 Tbsp bisquick
  • 1/3 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425° F.

Thinly slice fruit.

Combine cornstarch, sugar, and cinnamon in a 2 qt. saucepan.

Put the fruit and lemon juice into the pan and stir to coat.

Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils. Boil for 1 min., stirring constantly.

Pour into a buttered casserole.

Prepare dough by combing bisquick with milk in a mixing bowl.

Drop by spoonfuls on top of fruit.

Bake, uncovered, for 20-25 min.
