Ingredients
- 2 C melted butter
- 2 C brown sugar
- 1 C sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 t vanilla
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t cream of tartar
- 1 t salt
- 4 1/4 C flour
- 1/2 C sugar -- 1 t cinnamon for later

Preparation
Step 1
Add sugars to melted butter. Let cool. Stir in eggs. Add vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt. Mix well. Add flour in increments.
Make dough into walnut size balls. If too sticky, refrigerate for an hour.
Combine sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Roll dough balls in sugar mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten dough balls with greased spatula.
Bake 10 - 15 minutes. Cool on sheet for 2 minutes.
350 degrees.
