Ingredients
- 3 Tb. brown sugar
- 1 Tb. cornstarch
- 1 c. canned evaporated skim milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Step 1
Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a 4-cup glass measuring cup, stirring well. Gradually stir in milk. Microwave 2 minutes on high; stir. Microwave 1 more minute on high or until boiling. Stir well and blend in vanilla. Makes 1 cup.
This is a nice sauce to serve over angel food cake. Two Tb. of the sauce served over a 2 oz. slice of angel food cake is 184 calories.
