- 4 (6” pita loaves
- 1/4 cup olive oil (about)
- Coarse kosher salt if desired
Preheat oven to 375º
Halve pitas horizontally to form 8 round and lightly brush round sides with oil. Season pitas with salt and cut each round into 6 wedges.
Arrange wedges in one layer on 2 baking sheet and bake in upper and lower thirds of oven, switching position of sheets halfway throughx baking. 10-15 min. or until golden crisp. Cool toast. Toasts may be made 1 day ahead and kept in an airtight container at room temp.
