- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pkg. Andes mints (grated) or 1 pkg. of mint chips
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups of chopped nuts (optional)

Step 1
**Blend oatmeal into a fine powder**
Cream the butter and both sugars in mixer. Add eggs and vanilla; add flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add grated mint, chocolate chips, and nuts. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
