  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter chips

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream the peanut butter, butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour and the baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in chips.

Spread into a greased 13-in x 9-in x 2-in baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (do not over-bake). Cool on a wire rack.

For frosting, in a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, cocoa, milk, corn syrup and vanilla. Gradually and confectioners’ sugar; beat until smooth. Frost brownies. Sprinkle with chips. Cut into bars.
