  • 1/2 whole coffee beans
  • 1 bar high quality dark chocolate, broken into small pieces (could also use chocolate chips)
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • sea salt, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

place the chocolate and coconut oil into a small bowl. Heat for two minutes in the microwave, stirring every 20-30 seconds. When chocolate is completely melted, remove and stir well again. Add two spoonfuls of coffee beans into the melted chocolate and stir well, so that the beans are completely coated. Remove clusters of beans with a fork and place onto a sheet of wax paper. Repeat this process until all of the beans are gone. Sprinkle beans with sea salt and place in the freezer to solidify. Store clusters in a closed container, preferably in the fridge or freezer.
