Ingredients
- 1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped, about 1/2 cup
- 2 large cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbs fresh, chopped parsley or basil.

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in medium sized saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft, about 5-8 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more. Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer on the lowest heat for 20 minutes. Stir in parsley or basil. Serve.
