Patriot Martini

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 oz Vanilla Vodka
• 1/2 oz sweetened lime juice
• 1/2 coconut rum
• 1/2 oz blue curacao
• 1/2 oz grenadine syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Shake vodka, lime juice and coconut rum in shaker with ice. Pour into martini glass.

Slowly add blue curacao pouring along the rim of the glass being careful not to disturb the previous layer. It will float to the bottom of glass.

Slowly add grenadine pouring along the rim of the glass being careful not to disturb the previous layer. It will float to the bottom of glass.

The effect should be 3 separate layers of red, white and blue-after all these are the colors of Herve's homeland, France, and his adopted country, America.
