Ingredients

  • Mix together like a pie crust:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Rest of ingredients:
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Soak yeast in water for 10 minutes. Add milk, eggs and vanilla. Ad to flour mixture and let stand in fridge overnight. In the morning, mix cinnamon with sugar. Spread 1/2 cinnamon sugar mixture on counter or large cutting board. Roll out pastry mixture on top of cinnamon mixture. Sprinkle rest of cinnamon mixture on inside and and then roll up like cinnamon rolls and cut into 1/4" slices. Bake at 350F for 20-30 minutes.
