Black Forest Freeze (The Boozy Blender)

Maybe you missed that semester abroad at the University of Freiburg in Breisgau, so we’re here to fill you in. Germans love chocolate and cherries together. We made it better with vodka and brandy. Class dismissed.

Ingredients

• 2 cups (9 ounces) small ice cubes
• 2/3 cup premium chocolate ice cream or gelato
• 2 ounces vodka
• 2 ounces brandy
• 2 ounces sweet cherry syrup (not sour cherry syrup)

Preparation

Step 1

Put all the ingredients in a large blender in the order listed. Cover and blend until smooth, stopping the machine as necessary to shake down the canister, less than 1 minute. Divide between two large glasses.
