Ingredients
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 7 oz ground turkey
- 1 can italian tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground allspice
- 1/8 tsp red pepper, crushed
- kidney beans, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Spray a 3 qt saucepan with non-stick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat; add turkey and onion and using the back of a wooden to crumble meat, cook stirring occasionally, until turkey is browned (about 5 minutes). Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine. Reduce to Low heat and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until chili is thick (about 25 to 30 minutes). Remove bay leaf just before serving.
