Ingredients
- Directions:
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle beer
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- ● Mix the first 4 ingredients.
- Add the beer to the above mixture and mix well.
- ● Pour into a lightly greased 9 x5 inch loafpan.
- ● Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- ● Pour melted butter over top of bread and bake 10 more minutes.
