Starry Nutella Brioche

  • Brioche Dough:
  • 15 cl milk
  • 65 g butter
  • 65 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baker's yeast
  • pinch of salt
  • Nutella

Step 1

-Pour the milk & years in the bowl of food processor & mix a bit to melt
-Add the flour, sugar, salt & eggs - mix all about 5 min
-Put soft butter and switch mixer to kneading function for 10 minutes low speed (speed 1) with the hook
-Move to speed 2 & knead your dough until dough pulls away from sides of bowl.
-Allow to rise in the bowl 2-3 hours until triples in volume
-Vent the dough & divide into 4 equal pieces
-roll out each piece into 4 equal circles
-On plate or tart mold, covered with baking/parchment paper, put first disc of dough & spread with Nutella to 1cm from edge
-Cover with 2nd disc & seal edges well.
-Spread Nutella & repeat with remaining discs (top disc does not get any Nutella)

-Use small glass, mark center of cake and cut the dough into 16 equal parts (avoiding the center)
-Take 2 pieces and give them turns in opposite directions, repeat for remaining sections.
-Glaze with egg yolk and sprinkle with granulated sugar
-Bake 170 degrees for 20 minutes
-Let cool on rack
