Ingredients
- 2 Lbs stewing beef or left over roast, torn into pieces
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 quart water
- 1 onion, halved
- 2 stalks celery, cut in thirds
- 8-10 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4-5 carrots, sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup cool water

Step 1
Combine all ingredients in crock pot and cover with lid. Cook on high for 6 hours. remove onion halves and celery pieces with about a cup of broth and put into blender. Whiz again to mix well. Pour pureed vegetables back in crock pot. Stir to blend well. Cover and let cook for another 2 hours then serve.
