- cornmeal for pan
- 2 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1 pkg rapid rise yeast
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/4 cup milk, heated to 120 degrees

Lightly grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with cornmeal.
In a large bowl combine dry ingredients. Heat milk to 120 degrees. With mixer on low slowly pour in the milk. Turn mixer up to medium speed and continue to mix until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Transfer dough to a prepared loaf pan and spread out to ensure all corners of the pan are evenly filled. Lightly sprinkle with cornmeal and cover with plastic wrap. Allow to rise in a warm place for 90 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Allow bread to cool before turning onto a wire rack and slicing.
