Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into thin, 4-in long sticks
- 2 lbs green beans, trimmed
- 1 c loosely packed, flat-leaf parsley
- 1/2 c store-bought or homemade pesto, plus more for serving

Preparation
Step 1
Steam the carrots for 3 minutes. Add the green beans and continue steaming until veggies are just tender, about 4-5 more mins. Transfer to a large servings bowl.
While veggies are steaming chop parsley and stir in with pesto. Toss vegetables with pesto mixture. If desired, adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Serve warm with additional pesto on the side.
