  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 egg
  • 8 small saltine crackers or 2 large
  • 1/2 onion chopped fine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Step 1

In medium bowl, pound saltines until crumbs. Add 1 egg - stir until all crumbs are moistened. Add remaining ingredients. Fry in cast iron pan until all sides are dark brown & inside is done.
