Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups Sargento Fancy Mild Cheddar Shredded Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 (6-ounce) can flaked crab meat
  • 1 ounce pimientos
  • 1 loaf French bread

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the butter and cheese in a small saucepan over low heat; stir in the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and the garlic salt. Process in a blender or food processor until smooth. Fold the crab meat and pimientos into cheese mixture; mix well. Slice bread into 1/2-inch slices; spread with the crab meat mixture. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a pre-heated 350F oven for 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
