- 8 cups chopped broccoli florets (about 4 lbs)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 celery sticks
- 12 oz chicken stock
- 16 oz heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt

Step 1
Chop onion and celery. In a heavy pot, melt butter and add the chopped onion and celery. Saute for about 5-7 minutes until the onion is translucent. Add all other ingredients to the pot-all broccoli, broth, garlic, salt and black pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes. Stir in cream and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve.
