Ingredients
- 1 package yeast
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 egg

Preparation
Step 1
Mix yeast, water, egg, sugar and salt in a bowl. Stir in flour. Knead dough on table. Cut off lumps and roll into dough for pretzels. Twist. Put on a cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minutes at 435 until light brown.
Can be brushed with beaten egg and sprinkled with coarse salt before baking.
