Ingredients
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom or chicken soup
- 1 pouch onion soup mix
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/4 cup water

Step 1
Mix thoroughly 1/2 cup soup, onion soup mix, beef, crumbs & egg. In a 2 qt oblong baking dish, firmly shape into 8 x 4" loaf.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until done. Spoon off fat; reserve 1-2 tbsp drippings.
In 1 qt saucepan, combine remaining soup, water & reserved drippings. Over low heat, heat through, stirring occasionally.
