  • 1 cup crisco
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 2/3 cups sugar
  • 7 large eggs
  • 3 1/4 cups sifted plain flour
  • 2 tsps vanilla flavoring

Step 1

Cream crisco and butter. Add sugar; cream well. Add eggs one at a time; mix well. Add flour a little at a time; mix well. Add vanilla. Pour into a prepared tube pan. Bake 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20-25 minutes or until done. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
