Ingredients
- 1 cup crisco
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 large eggs or 7 medium eggs
- 2 cups sifted plain flour
- 2 tsps vanilla flavoring

Step 1
Cream crisco and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time, mix well. Add flour a little at a time; mix well. Add vanilla. Pour in prepared tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Remove from pan and turn upright on wire rack to cool.
