Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese. I like a mixture of cheddar and swiss
  • 1 cup cooked bacon in 1 inch slices
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 uncooked prepared pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Beat eggs
Add can of evaporated milk, mix.
Put cheeses, bacon and onion in prepared pie shell.
Add baking powder to egg mixture.
Pour egg mixture over cheese, bacon and onions.

Bake for about 45 minutes minutes or until golden brown

let rest for about 5 minutes.

Slice and serve.


Variations: use a variety of meats, cheeses and veggies.

I like to serve with fresh fruit.
