- 1 (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces blue cheese (crumbled)
- 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine
- 2/3 cup well drained chopped ripe olives
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- 1/4 cup California walnuts or pecans

Step 1
Blend one 8-ounce cream cheese (softened, 8 ounces blue cheese (crumbled) and 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine.
Stir in 2/3 cup well-drained chopped ripe olives and 1 tablespoon minced chives.
Chill slightly. Form in ball on serving dish. Chill well. To serve, sprinkle 1/3 cup chopped California walnuts over ball. Serve with crackers
Makes 3 cups.
