Ingredients
- Bread:
- 1 c. sourdough starter
- 3 c. bread flour
- 1/4-1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 t. active dry yeast
- 2 T. milk powder
- 2 T. gluten
- 1 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 c. oil
- Directions:
- ●Add all ingredients and mix until soft dough forms.
- Rolls:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- ●Combine and mix thoroughly.
- Directions:
- ●Roll dough on lightly floured surface to rectangle shape.
- ●Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over entire dough surface.
- ●Sprinkle 1 c. chopped pecans over cream cheese mixture.
- ●Roll up jelly roll style starting from long side of dough.
- ●Cut into 12 equal rolls and place in 9 x 13 pan.
- ●Cover and let rise at room temp approx 12 hours.
- ●Bake at 350 F. until lightly browned.
- Icing:
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 T. butter
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/4-1/2 t. almond flavoring
- milk to make consistency to pour over rolls
- ●Combine all ingredient and pour over rolls while hot.
