- 2 TEASPOON YEAST (OR ONE PACKET OF

YOU WILL SEE ALMOST EQUAL LEVELS: THE BOTTOM THIRD WITH SUGAR AND YEAST THE MIDDLE THIRD WITH CLOUDY WATER, AND THE
TOP THIRD WITH A FILM OF YEAST.
IF FOAM AND BUBBLES FORM WITHIN 10 MINUTES, THEN THE YEAST IS STILL ACTIVE (ALIVE). THE MIXTURE WILL BE APPROXIMATELY HALF MILKY LOOKING WATER AND HALF FOAM.
REMEMBER TO WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER HANDLING YEAST TO AVOID SPREADING THE YEAST WHICH IS CAPABLE OF CAUSING A YEAST INFECTION.
