- lb.) watermelon (preferably yellow) 3
- 5 limes, quartered 1⁄4
- 1 ⁄2 cups granulated sugar
- cachaca to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Seed the watermelon, then purée the pulp in a blender or food processor. Strain into a large wide-mouth jar to catch stray seeds.
Squeeze limes into jar, adding the rinds. Add sugar and 6–8 cups water and mix well. Adjust flavor with more sugar or limes, if you like. Add cachaca to taste. Add plenty of ice, then ladle into tall glasses.
