Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 2 cups + 1/4 cup sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3 cups + 1 Tbsp plain flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 small box lemon instant pudding
- 2 tsp lemon extract
- 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and crisco. Add sugar, cream for 10 minutes. Add pudding, mix well. Add eggs; 1 at a time; mix well after each. Sift dry ingredients except soda 3 times. Add to creamed mixture; alternating with buttermilk that has been mixed with soda. MIx on low until all moistened. Add vanilla and lemon extract. Pour in greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15-20 minutes or until done.
