Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 sticks butter, softened (cream together)
  • 6 eggs at room temperature ( separate and add egg yolks one at a time)
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • Mix together: 3 cups all purpose flour, 1/4 t. Soda.
  • Add flour mixture to butter mixture 1cup at a time.
  • Beat egg whites until fluffy and add to mixture.
  • Add 1 t. Almond extract, 1 t. Vanilla extract.
  • Beat until smooth. Bake in a greased and floured pan for 1 & 1/2 hours at 300 degrees!
