Cran-Raspberry Mold

An Elias tradition at Christmas time and Thanksgiving. I have been making this dish for as long as I can remember. It wouldn't be Christmas without it. Jordan and Mom's favorite!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1- 6 oz. package Raspberry Jello
  • 1 1/3 cups sour cream
  • 2/3 cup jellied cranberry sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Pour boiling water on jello in a bowl and dissolve by stirring with a wooden spoon. Refrigerate until thick, about 30 minutes. When chilled, take out of the refrigerator and blend in the sour cream and cranberry sauce until smooth. I use an immersion blender for this. Pour into a greased 5 cup mold and refrigerate until set (overnight).
