Ingredients
- 2 TBSP. oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
- 1 lb. ricotta cheese
- 3/4 lb. mozarella cheese
- 1 small can parmesan cheese

Step 1
Brown meat and garlic in hot oil in large skillet. Stir in onion soup mix, water, tomato paste and sauce and seasonings. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Cook noodles according to pkg. directions. Drain and place them in cold water. Remove from coold water as needed. Place thin layer of meat sauce in bottom of large baking dish. Arrange a layer of lasagne noodles, layer of mozarella cheese, layer of ricotta cheese, meat sauce and sprinkle on Parmesan. Repeat in that order until all meat sauce is used.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Freezes well.
