Preparation

Step 1

Makes 4 servings

1. Place the raspberries in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute to thaw.  Stir in 1 cup of the water and lightly crush the berries with a spoon. Strain the juice through a sieve or strainer pressing firmly on the berries to get all of their juice out. Discard the pulp and seeds.

2. Add the remaining 2 cups of water, along with the sweetener, sugar, lemon juice and zest and stir. Place in a pitcher with crushed ice, or pour over ice in individual glasses to serve. Feel free to garnish with fresh raspberries.

The frozen lemonade mixers at Auntie Anne’s are almost as popular as their pretzels. Their smallest raspberry lemonade drink contains 15 teaspoons of added sugar and 240 calories.
