Ingredients
- 1 (23.6 oz.) package fudge brownie mix
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk (large can)
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions in a lightly greased 13X9X2 inch pan. Let cool in pan.
Spread ice cream over brownies; freeze until hardened.
Combine sugar and next 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium, and cook 8 minutes. Remove form heat, and stir in vanilla and pecans. Cool. Spread frosting over ice cream. Freeze.
Remove from freezer 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Cut into squares.
Yield: 12-15 servings.
