Ingredients

  • 1 c. softened butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 T. molasses
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 c. crshed salted thin stick pretzels
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Mix softened butter with sugar and molasses. Beat until fluffy. Add vanilla and baking soda. Mix well. Add eggs.

Put pretzels in ziplock bag or cuisineart and crush. Add to dough. Add 1 cup flour. Add the rest gradually. Add chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoons onto parchment paper covered cookie sheets.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove to cooling rack.
