Ingredients

  • 2 T Smart Balance Light Spread
  • 1 T Garlic Powder
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 C Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 container Pillsbury Big B Buttery Crescent Rolls
  • Chicken Breast
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Melt Smart Balance butter in a pan, add flour and garlic powder and stir into a rue. Add broth and milk slowly whisking until thickened, then add Parmesan cheese and remove from heat. Place aside.
Cook chicken and shred. Roll out crescent rolls onto a cookie sheet and bake @ 350 for about 8-9 minutes. Remove from oven and spread garlic parmesan sauce over crescent rolls. Top with shredded chicken, I add curry to my chicken for extra spice but that is optional. Top with mozzarella cheese and garlic pepper then place back in 350 degree oven for 4-5 minutes. Turn on broiler and broil until cheese is slight brown. Cut into 8 slices
