Ingredients

  • 1 oz beeswax (Find Organic Beeswax Here)
  • 5.5 to 6.0 oz. coconut oil (Find Organic Coconut Oil here)
  • The more coconut oil you add, the softer and more meltable your cream will be
  • 10-15 drops Lavender Essential oil (Find Lavender Essential Oil Here)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt beeswax and coconut oil together in a double boiler
Take off the heat
Add 10-15 drops of Lavender Essential oil
Stir
Pour into a heat resistant container
That’s it! This recipe should last 1-2 years on your shelf (no water = longer shelf life). I use it for kitchen burns, sun burns, cuts, and dry skin. In fact, I keep a jar in my purse, kitchen and bathroom!

Note: Because this cream has lots of coconut oil, it may melt in temperatures above 75 degrees.
