Ingredients
- Directions:
- 4 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 3 teaspoon baking powder
- 7 tablespoons shortening
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- ● Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
- ● Mix all of the ingredients. (Mixture will be slightly sticky.)
- ● Knead in enough flour to roll out;
- ● Roll out, cut and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- ● Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
